Kyatcha is a Japanese contemporary restaurant and sushi bar in Rotterdam - The Netherlands. They opened a new location in Blaak - Rotterdam for which we made a new identity. Their vision is to serve high-end food for middle-class pricing, this was also the leading part for the redesign and new identity for their next location. We used warm and welcoming colors, yet also using a royal blue tint that hints to the quality of the food they are serving.
Sealife is a key ingredient in their dishes, with that in mind we incorporated elements in the identity that created a playful twist.
Together with Clayton Frederik (Head of Branding, Concepting and Music Strategy at ID&T), we did a pitch for Mysteryland 2020 edition. That, unfortunately, didn’t make the cut. We challenged ourselves to find a new and interesting way to blend summer and the diversity of Mysteryland.
